  As a security guard myself who has worked in the industry for a while, there is no reason not to let somebody in 5 minutes prior to lockout. Further, one of our group members swore at the bouncer, so he got management and we were all banned for 6 months. For what ?! Being refused entry when we did nothing wrong ? Management was rude too and fabricated the story and claimed we were 'dangerous' which is utter rubbish.

  Venue itself is nice. Staff and security guards are not. The time was 1:25am and our friend had made it to the door at this time, at which point the silly bouncer said it's 130, she's not allowed in. There were 4 of us and we all had 1:25. I even Googled 'time now in Sydney' and it was indeed 1:25 so the stubborn fool could let her in.
